2005-2007 – Specialist project designed to:

  • devise criteria to identify students at risk upon entry to the course
  • create a layered, triaged approach to personal tutoring dependent on level of support required
  • design stratified intervention summaries
  • allocate personal tutors based on  triaged approach
  • programme additional tutorial time accordingly
  • develop skills and pastoral inputs tailored to each individual
  • monitor attendance and well-being as key elements of course success
  • develop bank of standard response letters to students & family
  • generate reports for Head of Department
  • create flow chart to allow replication of project by other staff.
