Enhanced Doctoral Student Induction

This was a collaborative initiative with Dr Mel Cooper from Faculty of Health Studies who wanted to pilot rolling out a more comprehensive welcome package for the incoming doctoral candidates.

This pilot week consisted of at least one additional session per day to orient students and offer them a basic foundation in successful research practice.

I delivered 2 sessions: Ethical Considerations in PG Research and An Introduction to Qualitative Research both of which were well received according to feedback that was systematically collected.
